From the vehicle to the next payment
Illustrative example using fictional data: add a vehicle by VIN, record its cost and price, and connect it to a customer and contract. If the outstanding balance is $6,000 and you record a $300 payment, the example balance becomes $5,700, excluding interest or other charges. Review the payment history and share the corresponding receipt.
J5Drive organizes the data you enter; check that costs, contracts and payments are complete. Online payments require Stripe configuration, and its processing fees may apply. The auction calculator provides an estimate: verify costs with the auction and do not treat it as guaranteed profit.

Can I add employees with limited access?
Yes. Add salespeople (inventory, customers and contracts) and collectors (receivables and payments), each with their own login. Permissions are enforced on the server; for example, only the owner can void payments or change prices.
Can I import my cars and customers from Excel?
Yes. Import vehicles and customers from an Excel or CSV file.
How do I receive the money my customers pay?
You record the payments you receive at the dealership, and if you want online payments, you connect your own Stripe account. Stripe processes those payments and pays them out under your account terms; its fees apply separately.
Can I take my data with me if I leave?
Yes. Download a ZIP export of your data from Settings, and get a backup by email every week.
Does it handle rentals too?
Yes. It includes a rentals module with its own invoices, kept separate from your sales.
